Luba Caruso

 

Luba Caruso, born in Boston, Massachusetts, is a graduate of Villanova University and attended The Parsons School of Design. She received a package design award from Parsons and has had many works featured in the Parsons Gallery.  A successful Package and Design Artist with 15 years experience, Luba’s label designs are featured in famous marketplaces around the country such as Whole Foods, Trader Joes, BevMo, World Market, Sams Club, Costco, Blusushi, Iron Chef Michael Symon Restaurant “Lola”, PapaVino and Vino Volo.

 Living on the peninsula surrounded by the Navesink and Shrewsbury Rivers and the Atlantic Ocean, Luba is never far from the beauty of the shore, the beaches of Sea Bright and Spring Lake. The inspiration of these places are evident in her work, expressive in her compositions of daily life along the shore. As a young child, Luba spent summers on Cape Cod where she draws inspiration from as well seen in several of her pieces of seascapes and beach scenes.  Her oil paintings capture the beauty of these places as well as capturing her time spent living in Rumson and Fair Haven, New Jersey.
