Dana Salzone
Artist Statement:
My name is Dana Salzone, I grew up just outside Chicago. My love of art began in grade school with frequent trips to the renowned Art Institute of Chicago/ I was always drawn to Gallery 243 where the works of Claude Monet are housed.
In each painting, I carefully curate a unique palette and make sure every inch of work flows beautifully into its neighboring space. creating the perfect marriage of color. One unique thing about me is that I paint with both hands.
I work with highly pigmented acrylic on large-scale canvas and from my studio in Madison, NJ. I draw inspiration from old photographs my late grandmother, Jeanne, took in Monet’s gardens in the 1970’s.
You can find my work featured in homes and offices across the country, as well as several fine art galleries.
