Sue Sweeney is a fine art painter, living and working in Navesink, NJ. Sweeney graduated from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning with a bachelor’s degree in design. She moved to New York City and spent several years working at architecture firms specializing in commercial/retail design. She also freelanced as an architectural illustrator while studying drawing and painting at the Art Students League with Nelson Shanks and Ted Jacobs.

After living and working in New York City for 14 years, Sweeney moved to the Garden State where she paints in her own northern lit studio.
